--Alright, the real profile--
Hey there! My name is Zach, and I'm an Open Directory Project (Dmoz) editor specializing in computer and network security (although I do pretty much everything else with computers).
Besides Dmoz I enjoy listening to music, computer programming, web design, Linux, and the occasional video game (Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Namco's "Tales" series are my favorites). I'm starting to get into video editing and production as well (products of that are coming soon!). I also love to write, and plan to write a novel soon. Outside of those interests I enjoy sleeping, food, and Dr Pepper (the three tools of my survival).
Oh, I did mention I'm really into music, right? My favorite band is easily Angels & Airwaves, for those interested (I just love their melodic sound). Music gets me through all of my work , and it also accompanies me while I edit right here at Dmoz. To the right you will find a list of the 5 most recent tracks I listened to today on the, like, coolest service ever, dude, Last.fm.
I'm also currently in the process of developing a new economy simulation game, called Keluko (http://keluko.com/). I'm hoping to get that done sometime this millennia, although, that's kinda a lofty goal :).
--For the Site Owners--
If you're a site owner who has submitted to one of my categories and doesn't see their site yet, please, relax. Time is needed in order to properly review the large influx of sites that come to me. If you fear that your site has been rejected, make sure that it follows all of the rules listed in the Dmoz guidelines. I often have to reject sites because they are simply large product affiliate links or cleverly hidden affiliate spam sites. Sites that read like advertisements and such are often rejected. The easiest way to tell if you're going to get added is by carefully reading the Dmoz guidelines (there's a convenient link to them in the submission process that isn't just there for decoration!). Please, if at all possible, try not to contact me regarding the listing of your site. Assuming that you submitted your site to one of my categories correctly, it will be duly reviewed.
--Disclaimery Stuff--
I am a volunteer editor editing ONLY for the Open Directory Project (http://dmoz.org/). If you are viewing this profile from a site other than http://dmoz.org, then the site you are viewing is utilizing RDF data from the Open Directory Project (the only project for which I directly edit for).
--Thanks!--
Thanks for taking a look at my profile, and have fun browsing the Open Directory Project!
